My second time staying here as this hostel is amazing. Really good location, 5 minutes from Central Station and tram stop right in front of the hostel. Staff were really friendly and helpful, with 24/7 reception, large communal kitchen/dining area and free luggage storage. I even got a day pass when I checked out so I could still use the place. I requested a bottom bunk in advance and when I checked in and went to my room (5 bed room) they had reserved a bottom bunk for me. Thank you! Only negative is the room gets quite warm at night with no air flow, as there was no air con in the room and windows closed. Also, the only shower available on the floor was closed for cleaning for 1 hour from 4pm on Saturday, although nobody actually cleaned the bathroom until 4.50pm.

Excellent location right by the central train and bus station. There were lots of people around and I always felt very safe. Great food options nearby if you don’t want to cook yourself. Rooms and bathrooms were clean, and the kitchen and laundry facilities were also clean and functional. There are a lot of nice amenities (pool, co-working spaces, book exchange, vending machines) and the staff were all very helpful. Probably my only complaint is that the digital room key in the YHA app did not work, so you do have to remember your physical key card.

Very nice and clean hostel with modern rooms. The bunk beds have curtains, individual chargers next to each bed, and secure lockers, which made the stay really comfortable. There’s also a great common area with a small cinema room, perfect for relaxing and socialising. BTW amazing and quick receptionist! I would definitely stay here again next time I’m visiting Sydney.

Very good hostel. The location is very good, closed to Central station (direct from the airport). The neighbourhood is nice, a tram station at the door of the hostel. You can walk to Town Hall, there is a market nearby. I was in a private room. Good matress, good bedlinen. Common areas are good, big kitchen to make your own food. They are very strict with check out. Check out time is 10am but the key no longer worked at 9:50am to go to the bathroom or return to the room I would come back

This hotel was worth the price. Staffs were great, easy check-in process (they offered all the guests various daily activities, make sure you join it cause it is free), they also provided luggage room, in case your room wasn’t ready yet, you can store your luggage in there by your self. Room was convenient, clean, tidy, and quiet. They have laundry room and working room, canteen is provided as well. Not to mention the location, superb. It was located nearby the central station and Sydney light rail, it was super cool. Definitely will recommend this hotel to my family and friends.

Great location, with access to light rail right at the front and central station across the road. They have nightly movies and events spread throughout the week. The continental breakfast is fairly good. The tubs of Greek yoghurt were a pleasant surprise. They only had full cream and skim milk, so vegan alternatives would have been appreciated. There was a strong selection of various pastries too. About the rooms, nothing to really complain about. The blanket they provide is nice and warm. The lockers are very spacious with a small top compartment too, probably the best design I've seen so far. WiFi is very fast, no problems with congestion.
